About Me

I moved into career coaching after thorough experience working in recruitment for the creative, media and digital industries.  Also having worked as a television producer, I have experienced first-hand what it takes to build a successful career in these highly-competitive industries, and how to deal with the professional challenges which arise.

I started working as a Runner at 16-years-old, and quickly climbed the ladder, becoming a Researcher, Assistant Producer and then Producer.   I made a wide range of highly acclaimed television programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and MTV, alongside several branded content and digital media projects.

I then made the move over to recruitment and careers, joining the multi award-winning production company Blast! Films, initially as a Talent Manager but later promoted to Talent Executive.  I recruited creative, production and operations professionals of all levels and implemented strategies to retain and develop talent

Following interest about my fresh way of recruiting and a number of approaches from companies, I launched my own independent recruitment consultancy, Nifty Talent.  Through Nifty Talent I worked with 24 leading companies across the creative, digital and media industries. I have since returned to production, and now combine my work as a Career Coach with freelance producing.
